Editorial Review
It's the easiest way to keep clothes looking fresh, faster than ironing, with fewer expensive trips to the dry cleaner. This model has 140 watts of power, high velocity steam jets and extends steam capacity for hours with a steam pause feature. It also emits ions to help remove static from clothes and it is far gentler than ironing on fabrics, clothes, drapes, even delicate linens. Includes a collapsible hanger to a removable T-nozzle for changing attachments, rigid comb and lint brush.

It's not your mother's hair-dryer

Seriously, I have a hard time thinking of "Conair" as any thing but an over-sized hairdryer from the 70's. In this case, do your best to set that aside. I did quite a bit of research, comparing this against Rowenta and other models, and finally settled on this item for my sartorial other-half. Here are the highlights:
- a pause foot-pedal. Stops the steam for a moment without shutting down completely. This is a must!
- solid construction
- it rolls
- the cord retracts!
- the collapsible hanger is a little clunky but actually pretty useful.
On the other hand, I'd say the "ionic" thing is a gimmick, and we would have preferred if the wheels locked.
But in the end, you just want steam, and this delivers. The construction is solid enough that it doesn't melt but the handle can get hot if you're not careful. We haven't regretted it for a moment.
No longer a slave to the iron!!

This product was a cinch to assemble and is a cinch to operate. I was stuck in the laundry room for hours and hours each week ironing my family's clothes. I wish I had bought one sooner! It literally cut my laundry room time in half, if not more.

Don't expect a blast of steam. It flows out slow and steady just like all products of this type. Seems to work fine for taking wrinkles out of cloths, but if you want that professional look, you have to use an iron. No way around that.
Happy with steamer

I use a professional grade Jiffy steamer at work at a major retailer and wanted one for home use. This one produces steam in about one minute and is pretty easy to use. I do wish it were heavier, like the one at work, but for home and the price it's a good trade off. I love the retractable cord and that there is a "pause" button, to stop the steam if you get interrupted. I don't hang clothes on the provided rack, but steam with them on a hanger instead. I would definitely buy this steamer again.
Very Disappointed!

I used this steamer for about 3 weeks and it completely stopped producing steam. I called Conair and they told me that it was probably calcified (only after 3 weeks!!) and to clean it with vinegar and water. I tried it and it still wouldn't work. I called them back because it's under warranty and they told me I was better taking it back to the store because shipping back and forth to Conair would be near $100. Well I bought it from Linen n Things which is going out of business and won't accept returns so now I'm just out of luck. This is a terrible product and terrible customer service from Conair.
